A liquid chromatograph coupled with a single quadrupole time-of-flight analyzer enables the analysis of polar and non-polar compounds. Thanks to this instrument, it is possible not only to separate compounds in the LC system, but also to obtain a very precise mass, which translates into large identification possibilities. Moreover, thanks to the use of a quadrupole as a collision cell, it is possible to obtain specific fragments of an unknown/tested compound, which translates into increased accuracy in determination of the structure and formulas of the tested substances.

Access rules
The rules of using the equipment will be consistent with the research infrastructure management system being developed. The elements of this system include the method of reporting the demand for the performance of tests, the appointment of a person responsible for the performance of the tests, and the rules governing the intellectual property of the results. An element of the system will also be the settlement for the performed tests, allowing for free testing (in the case of joint publication or on the basis of reciprocity using the apparatus).
