Description

Hydraulic dynamometer, Schenk D450-1, with a maximum torque of 780 [Nm], maximum power 330 [kW] and a maximum rotational speed of 4000 [rpm]. This dynamometer is controlled via butterfly valve on the outlet side, fully controllable similar to an Eddy Current dynamometer and mainly used as loading unit for testing of combustion engines (primarily diesel engines) on engine test stands. It can be also used as loading units for powertrain, gearbox, turbines test stands.\n\nDynamometer is capable:\n1. To measuring of engine power and torque.\n2. To po provide test procedure for determining operational parameters and the impact from the engine to the environment or dynamometer can be used for power absorption\n3. Dynamometer can be used for power absorption unit for determining the engine power developed at various speeds.\n\nOperation modes:\nSpeed constant, Torque constant, Open loop - dynamometer parameters controlled via engine throttle.
