Description

Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer from Shimadzu.
The LCMS-8050 LC-MS/MS combines outstanding sensitivity with ultra-fast, accurate analysis. This combination enables the LCMS-8050 to meet demands for increased resolution and shorter chromatographic runs while adding more analytes to a single method.
- High-Sensitivity Analysis & High-Speed Positive/Negative Ionization Switching in 5 msec -
Even when performing polarity switching analysis, the LCMS-8050 acquires sufficient data points for even the sharpest UHPLC peaks, recording accurate peak data and allowing excellent reproducibility
- High-Sensitivity Analysis & High-Speed Scanning at 30,000 u/sec - Acquisition occurs so rapidly that MS/MS scans and MRM measurements can be performed concurrently while maintaining quantitative accuracy
- High-Sensitivity Analysis & High-Speed MRM at 555 ch/sec - Improved ionization efficiency and ion transmission deliver new levels of sensitivity at the industry-leading MRM analysis speed of 555 MRM/sec
- Heated ESI Probe -
A new state-of-the-art heated ESI probe improves desolvation efficiency to achieve trace detection and quantitation. This probe combines a high-temperature gas with the nebulizer spray, assisting in the desolvation of large droplets and facilitating ionization
The instrument is designed for durability and easy operation and maintenance to reduce downtime. The newly designed ion source features a cable-free, tubeless housing for convenience when switching from ESI to APCI or dual ionization mode. The desolvation capillary can be replaced without breaking vacuum, and probe maintenance is quick thanks to easily accessible consumable components.
