Liquid Chromatography UHPLC-MS Set

UHPLC system from Agilent Technologies (model Agilent 1290 Infinity) with dual pump, thermostated autosampler, column thermostat and diode array detector. Agilent 6550 iFunnel Q-TOF spectrometer. The instrument is equipped with two MultiMode ion sources (ESI and APCI combination) and a source using Agilent Jet Stream technology. The device enables qualitative and quantitative analysis of organic compounds in the mass range up to 3200 or 10000 m/z. It is characterized by reproducible mass accuracy (less than 1 ppm); quick UPLC analysis, and has a positive and negative polarization mode.

Liquid Chromatography HPLC-MS Set

Agilent Technologies HPLC system (model Agilent 1200) with dual pump, degasser, autosampler, column thermostat, and diode array detector Spectrometer HCT Ultra from Bruker Daltonics with ion trap analyzer. The mass spectrometer is equipped with three types of ion sources using different ways to ionize the sample: electrospraying (sources: ESI and off-line nano ESI) and chemical ionization (APCI). Possibility to perform MS(n) analyses. The set is dedicated to determining the mass and structure of synthesized compounds, qualitative and quantitative analysis of composition of mixtures.

Laboratory of photocatalysis and study of photochemical reaction mechanisms

The laboratory consists of systems equipped with 1000W or 250W xenon lamps, medium pressure lamps, reactors with light sources in the form of LEDs emitting UV, Vis or IR radiation, and measuring equipment: HPLC, FID-GC, TCD-FID, BID-GC, TOC analyser, GC-MS, HS-GC-MS, UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Depending on the type of reaction, glass reactors with quartz windows, Teflon, steel or test tube reactors are used. Action Spectra is a unique system for studying the mechanisms of photochemical reactions.

Mass ARRAY Analyzer 4 platform with nanodispenser

Platform enabling high-throughput, targeted analysis of nucleic acids without the use of fluorescent markers, using mass spectrometry to detect the end products of PCR reactions. MassARRAY enables precise, fast and cost-effective genetic analyzes thanks to the unique combination of MALDI-TOF technology, dedicated reagent kits and advanced in silico analysis. MassARRAY allows for 96-well plate format studies and the analysis of multiple PCR products in one reaction (up to 40 SNPs in one reaction).

Laboratory of Genetic Analysis

The laboratory offers a wide range of services related to the analysis of nucleic acids: purification and quality control of nucleic acids, genotyping (single nucleotide polymorphisms, microsatellites); detection of mutations with increased sensitivity, including analysis of free circulating DNA (so-called liquid biopsies), DNA methylation analysis, quantitative analysis of gene expression, pathogen detection, identification of microorganisms.

MALDI Biotyper system for microbial identification using mass spectrometry

The MALDI Biotyper System enables rapid identification of bacteria to species or genus. Identification of the tested microorganism is performed on the basis of comparative analysis of bacterial protein spectra, mainly ribosomal, by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry using laser desorption/ionization matrix-assisted time-of-flight analyzer with a Bruker Microflex LT mass spectrometer. Our library of spectra is regularly updated and currently allows the identification of over 7800 bacterial species.
