Caleva Multi-Lab Granulator, Extruder and Spheronizer System
The apparatus is used for the production of spherical granules (pellets) on a laboratory scale by wet granulation with extrusion and spheronisation. The apparatus consists of three attachments: for wet granulation, extrusion and spheronisation. The apparatus is used to process a mixture of powders into a solid drug formulation in the form of spherical pellets with improved physical properties compared to the initial powders.
