PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) image anemometry system – the station enables non-invasive fluid flow studies (liquids and gases) using particles suspended in the fluid, determining vector half-velocities, as well as local pressure distributions. The equipment allows for conducting studies with two components of the velocity vector (2D2C – 2 Dimensions, 2 Components) or with three components of the velocity vector – Stereo PIV technology (2D3C). Studies can be conducted on a macro scale (PIV and Stereo PIV) and micro scale (Micro PIV and Micro Stereo PIV).
