High Performance Liquid Chromatography coupled with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (HPLC‑QqQ/MS)

Description

Liquid chromatography 1260 Infinity, coupled with mass spectrometer with a QqQ analyzer, model 6430 LC-QqQ/MS, Agilent Technologies. It is a powerful tool for targeted metabolomics analysis including screening and quantification of known metabolites. This technique allows the detection and quantification of specific molecules in a biological complex mixture (e.g. urine, plasma, serum, saliva), isotopically labeled internal standards are often used for accurate quantification. It is used to monitor the composition of the sample, the fragmentation process, and the identification of substances in the sample. It is useful for many applications, such as biomedicine, food safety, forensics, environmental and pharmaceutical analysis. Easy maintenance and automated instrument diagnostics.
