Description

A high power continuous wave Ytterbium fiber laser IPG\nPhotonics fiber laser YLS - 6000 with a maximum power of 6 kW and a wavelength of 1070nm. Laser head with a focal length of 250mm.\nThe robotic laser welding station enables welding in an inert gas shield (Ar 99.999%).\nThe scope of research works carried out: welding of carbon and alloy steels, aluminum alloys, titanium, dissimilar joints.

Rules for the use of the equipment will be consistent with the research infrastructure\nmanagement system being developed. Elements of this system will include how to request research, who will be\nresponsible for conducting the research, and rules of procedure for intellectual property rights to the results. The\nsystem will also include a settlement for research allowing for free-of-charge research in the case of collaborative\npublication or reciprocal use of the equipment.
