Milestone's ETHOS One system is used to prepare samples in a closed system. The microwave oven is equipped with a rotor that can accommodate 12 Teflon bombs (including one with a temperature and pressure measurement sensor). The ETHOS One is equipped with SafeVIEW, incorporating a digital camera linked to a 5.6" high-resolution screen, from which the entire instrument can also be controlled. The ETHOS One microwave oven is used for the preparation of environmental, food and pharmaceutical matrix samples.

A set of spectral research apparatus with very high sensitivity in the UV-Vis-NIR range. Includes spectrophotometers for measurements of steady-state absorption, steady- and time-resolved fluorescence, fluorescence anisotropy, fluorescence microscope with up to 600x magnification and phase-contrast, picosecond pulsed light sources, CW sources. Measurements of directional emission characteristics are possible (e.g. SPCE).
