CONDUCTOMETRIC PARTICLE ANALYZER (Coulter counter)
Conductometric particle counter for analyzing the particle size distribution of particles suspended in an electrolyte. Equivalent spherical (electrical) diameter is reported based on impendance pulse measurement. Typical measurable size range is about 2–40% of the aperture (capillary) diameter. Three apertures (capillaries) are available in the laboratory: 50 μm, 100 μm, and 200 μm.
