The LightCycler 480 System is a high-performance PCR platform that provides various methods for gene quantification and genetic variation analysis. The platform includes LightCycler 480 Instrument, a versatile, plate-based real-time PCR device which can work either in a 96- or 384-well plate format. Flexible selection among 5 excitation and 6 emission wavelengths makes the system compatible with most currently available dyes and assay formats in monocolor as well as multiplex assays.

The laboratory offers a wide range of services related to the analysis of nucleic acids: purification and quality control of nucleic acids, genotyping (single nucleotide polymorphisms, microsatellites); detection of mutations with increased sensitivity, including analysis of free circulating DNA (so-called liquid biopsies), DNA methylation analysis, quantitative analysis of gene expression, pathogen detection, identification of microorganisms.
