Hydrins - Inertial Navigation System (INS)
The HYDRINS device from iXblue is a high-performance, high-accuracy inertial navigation system (INS). It is used with measurement systems that require information about the vertical (yaw), lateral (roll), and longitudinal (pitch) tilts of a vessel, including multibeam echosounder (MBES), USBL underwater navigation system, and scientific and fishing split-beam echosounders. In addition, HYDRINS is a compact unit that provides highly accurate data on current position, course, and speed.
