real-time analysis

Monolith NT.115

The Monolith NT.115 Blue/Red uses microscale thermophoresis (MST) technology to measure the interaction between a fluorescently labeled sample and a ligand even under near-native conditions. The interaction is measured in solution (without immobilization) using a temperature gradient over time. The M.O.Control software automatically calculates the binding affinity (KD) from the fitted curves on a plot of fluorescence versus ligand concentration. The Monolith analysis is fast (takes 15 minutes) and requires only small amounts of sample (4 µl per capillary).

Biacore T200 biosensor system

Biacore T200 allows you to study the interactions (from ions to viruses) in real time, without the need to label the sample. The technology is based on the Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) phenomenon. Standard analysis takes from 2 to 15 minutes (for one analyte). The high sensitivity of the Biacore T200 equipment allows for the analysis of interactions with small molecules (100 Da). It is possible to analyze heat-sensitive samples and to study temperature-dependent effects (temperature range is 4 ° C to 45 ° C). Biacore T200 enables the simultaneous analysis of three immobilized ligands.

Atomic Force Microscope BioScope Resolve

The BioScope Resolve Atomic Force Microscope with the MultiMode8 Lockout Specs scanning head is a unique AFM system that allows you to observe the dynamics of isolated biochemical systems, whole cells and complex biological systems. This microscope enables high-resolution imaging of very small molecules as well as large eukaryotic cells. It allows you to observe preparations fixed as well as particles in aqueous solutions. https://biotech.ug.edu.pl/atomic_force_microscop_bioscope_resolve
